The Mysterious Benedict Society

Doesn't just saying the word society make you feel smart, or is it just me? Just me? Okay.
This book is pure genius. Trenton Lee Stewart thinks up the smartest characters and puts them all in this one book. You quickly learn to the love the somewhat underdog Rennie, and after that it's a snowball effect. Suddenly you find yourself lost in a world of tricks and illusions (all pulled off by genius masterminds). Soon you're flipping page after page eager for more, yet anxious about what will happen next. "The Mysterious Benedict Society" will keep you entertained for hours, and will leave you breathless for the next one.

To Kill a Mockingbird

I am currently reading this book for the second time. It is witty and funny. Scout's narative make's it easy to visualize, and easy to comprehend. She bluntly states nearly everything, and finds things that may be ordinary now days, simply incredulous. The characters in "To Kill a Mockingbird" stand alone; they're unlike any others. Whether its Calpurnia and her boisterous attitude, or Atticus and his stoic manner, you will find no two charcters alike (except maybe the Ewells).
The plot has many unexpected twists, and a thought-inspiring message overall. How you should never judge someone by what others say; and some people are never what they seem.
Personally, I give it a HUGE thumbs-up! Definitly something to check out.
